Course Description

Aims

To provide JMOs with the opportunity to focus on the clinical and team skills required in the management of the patient with airway problems

​

Specific Objectives

  • Structured approach to the management of the patient with airway problems

  • Clinical management and team-based rehearsal of common problems using ABCDE approach

  • Non-technical skills: Teamwork, leadership, communication

  • Reflection on practice, performance and interaction with others

  • Facilitated reflective debriefing
